Dani appeared on the camp beach, knowing that Gabe and Apollo hadn't wanted her or her siblings to leave their home.  She really would have followed their wishes but she need to see the ocean.  All her powers had to do with the water and to be away from it felt like she was loosing part of herself.  She had changed into togs before she had left the house, telling no one where she was because she hoped to be back before Gabe or Apollo even realized she was gone.

Dani stepped into the water, calling the current hard towards her like her mother had once showed her.  She stepped further into the water, trying to push away thoughts of the women who had never really seemed to love and when that failed she found herself crying.  Her very powers remind her of her parents as much as she didn't want them to.  Though her sadness it took Dani a while to realize how dangerous the water was becoming at a beach that half blood's used.  She tried to calm herself and after a while managed it.  She was no longer sobbing but still had tears in her eyes as she headed further into the water.

Dakota

Dakota had seen Danielle sneak out so he followed her, knowing where she was going, he stripped off she he was wearing just board-short he headed into the water after Dani feeling her turbulent thoughts through their twin bond and also through the motions of the weather. He wrapped an arm around her holding her tightly. "Calm down." He tells her, knowing that she was already calm but also not really because she still heading out. "They don't want us to never leave, don't be silly, they just want us to live with them, we can still come and go but we have to tell them where, because they care like proper parents."

"I told them that we were going to see the ocean cause we needed too, and they were fine about it, they aren't prison warden's they want us to be happy so they said that we can come whenever we like we just have to let them know when we leave home and when we come back and if it's a couple of hours they might come to check on us because they are worried but only because of that, not because we have to stay there."

Danielle sighed, she knew she was being stupid but of course as always it had been Dakota to point it out to her. She lent into his arms with a sigh, "I'm sorry", she replied. "In some ways I think it was easier when we where alone", she continued. "I love Gabe and Apollo but its different having parents who care", she continued. She rubbed away the few tears that where in her eyes. "Is it wrong that I still miss them?", she asked hoping her brother would understand. "There is still so much I don't know about what I can do and as much as Apollo can help Brook he can't really do much to help us."

"Don't apologize I understand, we're twins remember." He tells her, giving her a gentle shove. "I love Gabe and Apollo too. It's not wrong, I miss them too. I wish that they would be better parents to us but apparently it's not possible." He says his tone is full of hurt and anger, he couldn't forgive them for what they had done to them but he did wish that they would love are care for them but he realized that it was a foolish dream. "I know, I wish they could help us more, but we can learn on our own. I'm sure that somewhere here there is someone who can help us. I heard that our older half-brother Percy is back at camp, maybe we can ask him."

Danielle smiled at her brother, glad at least someone understood her, she sighed inwardly when she heard the bitterness in his voice towards their parents. She knew they deserved it though. They had never been there for them and neither had Percy. Dannielle dint really want to go to him for help either, "I think I would rather try and work it out on our own. Maybe we can learn enough that way anyway and there are other gods we can always ask for help", she replied. She did love their family but none of them had ever really helped them and Danielle still couldn't help but hate them for that.

"Yeah that's true." He says with a grin, he couldn't really blame her for feeling the same way that he did about their biological parents. "I can't really blame Percy for not helping, I mean have you seen how clingy and anti-social his boyfriend or was it husband is I mean they are like joined at the hip, I mean it's creepily co-dependent." He says with a sneer at the thought of Nico, he thought the other man was creepy and needed to loosen up his hold on Percy because he would loose him one day, I mean who wanted to be with someone who wanted to know their every move.

Danielle shook her head, "Percy still choose him over us and he does love him", she replied with a sigh. All there family had something more important to do then look after them and Dani couldn't really understand it. She would never turn away from Brooke or Dakota. Especially not if they needed her. She sighed, deciding she didn't want to continue to dwell on the bad and used her power to splash her brother, pushing under the water for a few seconds before letting him up. With them both having powers to do with water she knew she couldn't hurt him here. She would never do the same to Brooke though.

Dakota growled grabbing hold of Dani's foot and using it to make her fall into the waves. He stood and shook his head trying to dry his hair a bit. He understood where she was coming from about Percy but still that Nico dude gave Dakota the creeps. He moved away from her using his control over the water to send small tsunami waves at her, making sure to not over do it and cause the whole beach to flood and destroy the building at the camp which would get him in deep trouble and that would cramp his fun with his sister.

Dani laughed as she was hit with wave after wave of water from her brother. She used the underwater currents to pull herself beneath the surface and then pushed them to do the same to her brother, pulling him underwater with her. She then used the currents to pull herself further away from him. Leading them further away from the beach where they could have their fun without fear of causing any damage to the camp. She just hoped he followed her. As she moved further out the sea life increased and she grinned when she saw he hippocampi and dolphins swimming around.
